Small Skipper Thymelicus sylvestris Aberrations

This is  a holding Page for aberrations in the Small Skipper Butterfly
Thymelicus sylvestris is NOT complete and will be ammended and added to

A species of rough grassland, where tall grasses grow

Anatomical Terms

The terms  Recta  and  Versa relate to the Back and Front of the Wings respecfully, with the versa view being typical when basking

Top = Forewing
Bottom = Hindwind
wing



Varieties or aberrations of the Small Skipper are rare. A specimen with itsa ground colour very pale white is ab. pallida
